There are many airports (scenic as well as commercial) in South Asia that can compliment routes from South East Asian & Middle Eastern airports with good scenery.
I am sure developers might not find South Asian airports lucrative, but potential exists to may be have lite cost effective scenery given that most airports have not been worked on in that region.

Yes, we were planning on doing Narita, but another developer announced it and we called it off. We were looking at Hong Kong but there is a fairly recent version. We will continue to look into the area and see what other opportunities may arise.

How about Male (VRMM) or Mumbai (VABB) Both popular airports without good scenery.

Male is already in development by FSDG. Looks very promising.
Stinn Pacific recently released Mumbai, but it looks very basic. Sure LatinVFR can do better than that.
Another idea would be Langkawi and Penang. These are two popular holiday destinations in Malaysia. Although MFSG already has a Penang scenery, but a better one certainly can't hurt. For Langkawi there's nothing.

Well Bangkok VTBS has never been made in a quality level way, ever! Also India is largely overlooked, and Johannesburg in SA...

How about Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport? I don't think there is any other airport in the whole of Asia which has more take offs and landings as this one. It outpaces Tokyo Narita by far. Sorry, I just see now that someone else already requested VTBS. I hope you make it.
