next plane is A330-900neo
Re: next plane is A330-900neo
Hi,
I’m on Xbox series X and I agree with the issues.
Departure from Madrid (from Rwy): the plane bounce at start, like it was thrown.
I agree too in the excesive AOA (always on red zone). Trim is mostly at 100% (maybe here is the issue?).
I’ve had an altitude black problem. A/THR was on. I went to Idle and then go to médium zone. The plane begin to climb.
I understand that plane is just launched. Perhaps need some adjusts.
I’m sure all issues will be solved soon.
Thanks!
Edit.: I’ve just done my first flight. All ok, but 15 NM to the destiny airport the plane suddenly turns to the left, go down and crash.

Re: next plane is A330-900neo
I am happy to report that it ran excellent on the Xbox Series X. No slowdowns, beautiful crisp textures. I also ran OANS on the "high" setting and did not notice any frame drop. I did notice that the ecam display was flashing XX CL89 repeatedly during cruise. Of course there were other minor bugs and missing features, but its a new release and definitely not game breaking.
I overall am pleased what LatinVFR has done with this aircraft. I feel the price is right, its not study level but its also not a basic skin. I look forward to flying this as my main plane and working with LVR to get the plane to A+.
Also, still waiting on the simlink connection for Xbox users to show up on the navigraph moving maps

Re: next plane is A330-900neo
Right, a bit of a further update to my last post.
I tried another flight today. Only a very short one from EIDW to EGLL. All the issues I reported yesterday didn't make an appearance today except for the AOA one.
I made my flight plan via the default MSFS flight planner. Once I reached cruising altitude, the plane was 8° AOA. I have auto trim on in case that helps.
The rest of the flight was pleasant. The only bug I encountered was I pressed the ILS toggle, it didn't show up on the display and obviously then I couldn't arm the localiser and capture the glide scope.

Purple diamonds did not appeared when pushing ILS button.

If you used Simbrief you still have to go into the fp and set the dep/arrival, or in the rad nav menu input the correct frequency for the ils.Aceituno wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 8:15 pmI had the ILS issue too.AirbusAmateur wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 6:34 pmRight, a bit of a further update to my last post.

No way to calibrate the TCA Airbus throttle? I'll wait till it comes out on your website with updates. I hope that will be one of them.

As mentioned by myself before, the Angle of Attack in the plane is insane. I'm using Auto Trim assist and despite the A330 having a set vertical speed of 2500ft whilst climbing, the plane looks like it's ready to launch to space. It says an 11 degree angle.
It really ruins the overall simulation.

a 2,500ft climb depending the altitude is not something common on the A330, in any case we will look into it.AirbusAmateur wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 4:13 amAs mentioned by myself before, the Angle of Attack in the plane is insane. I'm aware of that. I was trying a set up with low fuel and pax to test the aircraft. It even occurs on other flights at 25,000ft and a climb rate of around 800ft a minute.
