Hello,
New to this forum. Big fan of LVFR having a majority of scenery produced. Back in April there was mention of a secret airport in the works. Was that airport ever announced or released? Thanks for the great work looking forward to your next project

Hi thanks for the question, actually by next week you might get the surprise. That's the expectation. Its a hub and its in Europe. That's all we can say for now.

So I just read this secret project is Madrid.

Stupid, very stupid. That's all I can say about it. After all, we already have an excellent Madrid scenery from Aerosoft / SimWings. This makes there is absolutely zero demand for another Madrid scenery. I won't be buying it anyway, I already got Madrid and there is nothing LatinVFR can add on top of that.

I would have thought you would have learned after Barcelona, in which you also competed against Aerosoft / Simwings (and JustSim for that matter). Aerosoft took the major market share, LatinVFR and JustSim got the leftovers. And now you're making that same mistake again.

I'm very disappointed. High quality development capacity is scarce and if multiple developers all do the same airport that doesn't contribute to the total amount of airports done. Even in Europe there were plenty of airports you could have picked and gained 100% market share for that airport. You wouldn't have stepped on anybodies toes and you would have fulfilled a demand. With Madrid, how much market share will you get? 5%? Maybe 10% at most, but that's it.

Now can we please go back to your other developments and abandon Madrid?

Hi, in this forum we have set guidelines on respect and decorum. Your post does not meet that standard. Nonetheless I won't remove it, but any other post like this will be removed in the future. WIll keep this as a reference as the type of posts that aren't permitted.

This is the only time I will address this.

There are countless of scenery that have been developed twice, and as with LEBL 3 times. We have been working on LEMD for a couple of years now, and we did not want to 'abandon' Madrid. Nor would we at this point.

You are free to chose the products you wish to buy, and we are free to develop the products we wish to develop.

With LEBL, we announced it first than the other 2 developers, and nonetheless they proceeded in releasing their version of LEBL. With this airport we have given the existing developers the chance to sell their product without us SPOILING their release, the same way they did to us, we did not do this to them this time. You ask me and I think that what we done with LEMD is I think more honorable than what they did to us with LEBL.

At the end any customer will win when there is competition and options, yes is not good sometimes for us developers, but that's all part of the game. I am sorry to hear your dissapointment, but when we began working on LEMD there wasn't any LEMD in the horizon, and that's why we jumped on it.

Aside from the fact that we had professional contracts outside of P3d/FSX that had us do this airport months ago... so that's it and have a good one!

@PatrickZ What gives you any special privilege on what products LatinVFR is planning? You're highly critical here and in the Narita thread.
I'm very glad to be given an opportunity to buy an alternative version of a scenery that looks so much better than the competitor's offering.
LVFRA's KSAN, KMIA (and soon LEMD) are in my sim and they are the best versions available.

I agree we are free to purchase any scenery regardless from what developer. I am very glad LatinVFR made LEMD and we can have even 2 or 3 same scenery, just activate one for day one, the second for a second week and so on.

Congratulations Ricardo,

This one really beats any other product available around. The SODE thingy and the PBR are my favorite features, besides the incredible surroundings! Finally, Madrid is not a brown dot inside a green countryside

BTW, is it going to be available through Simmarket? i have my collection there....
