A300-200 Brakes Completely Ineffective…

Maybe someone from LVFR can explain why after a faultless flight from TNCM to KMIA this morning, after I touched down on runway 26L the brakes on the aircraft are completely ineffective, which meant I was unable to arrive into a gate, as the aircraft wouldn’t drop below 25 knots, even the handbrake didn’t work? Little things like this are what sets the professionals apart.

I have exactly the same problem, the brakes are ineffective and when you turn right or left it turns easily because I can't turn, it's really complicated.

hi, are you using thrust to taxi?

because the plane doesnt need any, on idle it taxis.

And what controls you have for the toe brakes?

so I use the R1 and L1 buttons on the xbox controller but I have no problem with the A330 neo and the A319 everything works well but the 330ceo is complicated it turns badly and the brakes I configured the X key with the other planes no problem but the 330ceo is complicated it brakes badly

I agree. Brakes not working at all at landings (taxiing is fine). Even the handbrake doesn't work.
After landing it's really hard to stop the plane.
I'm using the Thrustmaster pedals (the cheap ones). With every other plane it works. With the A330 not working at all.
Another question: I'm using the Thrustmaster Airbus Throttle quadrant. Is there any calibration tool planned for the EFB in order to set the detents like climb etc.? Thanks

Hi Ricardo,

The brakes work well when taxing for departure, it’s only after landing, it must be a bug, as soon as you go to touch the brakes , steer or use the handbrake it won’t let you. I’ve had to get around this by pressing both sticks down on the Xbox controller to make the aircraft levitate and then drop it back down again, then it works perfectly, this is the only thing that lets the aircraft down at the moment.

Hope you get this fixed asap.

P.S please add more liveries for oceanic region, like Tahiti, Fiji, Chinese carriers, Jetstar, Malaysian etc.

OK will continue to see but on landing we get it fine. Will continue to test.
