BUG: A340 Parking Break

When starting from cold and dark at a gate, the parking break will not disengage, as soon as you disengage it, it re-engages straight away. I've tried using the button in the EFB which doesn't resolve it, i've also used the jump to settings to jump the aircraft ready state to taxi / takeoff, which sometimes works. Only way to consistently get around this is to start on a runway ready for departure.

I've made sure all ground connections are off.

are you sure there isn't anything on red in the ground services section?

if this is happening still, please post a picture of your ground services section

As you can see from the images, all doors are closed and all ground services are not active and the parking break wouldn't disengage, I had to set the aircraft to taxi ready to get around this

Hi, thank you for the pictures, we will investigate and try to replicate so we can fix this. Our apologies in the meantime.

Hi,

i can confirm this as "bug". This situation can occur when you start any engine and CONES are not "turned off". You should turn off CONES before starting engines.

You can use 2 workarounds in this situation right now:

1) Set state of aircraft to Ready To Taxi
2) Shutdown all engines, then turn off CONES and start engines again

This problem/situation will be fixed in next scheduled update.

Kind Regards
