Issue while performing more than one flight in a row

Post by tsms » Sun Jun 02, 2024 6:02 pm

Hello.

I am experiencing issues while trying to initiate another flight after finishing a previous one, without returning to the main menu. I'm able to perform an A-to-B flight without any problems, although it seems that the MCDU keeps "stuck" in APPR mode in the PERF page after landing, even after reloading the new flight plan from Simbrief.

The aircraft's EFB sucessfully refreshes the Simbrief flight plan with the new flight information, and I'm able to successfully sync the plan/fuel/pax. However, it seems that the MCDU does not "reset" itself (in particular the PERF page, which stays in the APPR phase). As a consequence, during takeoff and climb the plane seems to keep itself in "APPR" mode, and the ND keeps displaying "DES" instead of "CLB".

Is it mandatory to return to the main menu before commencing a new flight? Or perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, unfortunately, till we get the avionics update this issue will persist.

I understand doing this would be great and its frustrating it can't happen, but with the avionics update this will be sorted. Our apologies please
