A340 TCA Throttle Setup: Reversers

Post by topcat1952 » Sat May 11, 2024 12:46 pm

Greetings: I have set up my TM Airbus Throttles per the YouTube video in the tutorial (for the 747). Normally, the throttles seem to work fine, but if I deploy the thrust reversers, they open but then, when I return the trottles to idle, they will not close, They remain open unless I move the throttles to full power, When I pull them back, the reverser doors open again even if I have not deployed them.
Any ideas what may be the issue?
Thanks

OK so just quickly tried again the reversers based on the video, and they worked fine. The reversers if you pull them back to the yellow position and then return them forward to idle they will be stowed.

So can you configure your TCA again?

OK. After I wrote you, I realized I forgot to set up the sensitivities first. My settings were nothing like what was shown on the YT demo, but I changed mine and now seem to have success. I did have to change my Deadzone to 10% to kep the reverser doors from temporarily opening at idle and they seem to be fine now. I also had to turn off the Reverse Axis boxes.
Hopefully, good to go now. Looking forward to update as they are rolled out.
Thanks much!
