Nosewheel steering

I’ve tried finding a resolution to the issue but can’t.

I can’t steer or taxi. I can only go forward until I’m going fast enough for the rudder to have an effect. This happens in all airport and scenarios.

I use a Thrust-master T-Flight Hottas on PC

What have I done to try and fix the problem, I have two axis that can steer rudder controls on the throttle or an axis on my joystick.

I usually use my joystick for rudder and this is normally the same for nosewheel steering, however it doesn’t work.

I’ve gone through and assigned nose steering to one axis and rudder to another, rudder works, steering doesn’t. I’ve aligned them both to the same, rudder works nosewheel doesn’t.

I’ve alternated switched rudder to the throttle rudder axis, nose to the joystick, rudder works nosewheel doesn’t and I’ve switched back. I’ve look through the efb and can’t find. Setting that would cause an issue.

So I am kind of at a loss. And would appreciate any assistance.

I am sure this is an easy fix I’m just not able to work it out

Try this workaround.

Make sure your simulator is not running.

Navigate to your...

\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\lvfr-a330-900\SimObjects\Airplanes\A330-900

...folder. Create a backup of the flight_model.cfg and open the original with notepad.

Scroll down until you see the [FLIGHT TUNING] section.

Change the yaw_gyro_stability = parameter to 0.

Save As, select File Type ALL, and overwrite the original flight_model.cfg. Make sure to not save it as a .txt file.
