INSANELY Loud "V1" aural callout on takeoff – A330-900neo on Xbox

Hi,

My speaker almost got blown out by the "V1" callout while taking off for the first time on the a330 on Xbox. I have my cockpit and warning sounds turned down to 15 out of 100 because I dislike those sounds to be too loud. My MSFS max volume is set to 75.

Why is the "V1" callout so insanely loud? Is there any way to fix this? It seems to shout it at my max speaker volume, despite any sound settings. I have an external speaker plugged in and cockpit sounds disabled when in external view...

It would be a shame to have to mute every single time I takeoff on this plane. Please help.

Hi, not sure what do you consider insanely loud. It has that volume because lots going on, ambient wise (plane on the runway speeding), the engines (at close to full power) and you need to hear that in order to actually takeoff.

This is the first complaint we had on the volume of that sound in more than 7 months, so we going to find out from other feedback if we need to revise it.

Insanely loud as described... feels like it plays beyond the max volume that I've set for both the simulator master sound setting AND my speakers. It's at least 5-10x louder than the landing aural callouts "50, 40, 30..."

Insanely loud as in, I can't use headphones whenever I'm flying this plane because it scares the hell out of me.

I don't remember it ever being loud all the times I've flown it. However I'll check on it again and get back to you.

Apologies for the late reply.

The reason I didn't hear it as you mentioned, is because I normally have my master volume in the simulator turned down. I decided to turn everything to 100%, and yes, it is loud as you described.

The volume will be adjusted and should be noticeable in a future update.
