Does your computer have the recommended specs to run MSFS? If not, the user may experience issues with stable fps, sound cutting out, etc.

Do you have Flight Simulator installed on a HDD, SSD, or M.2? I recommend installing on either an SSD or M.2 drive.

Do you have any other apps running alongside Flight Simulator? Try exiting or turning off those apps.

Have you tried adjusting any graphic and sound settings in the simulator and in windows to try and fix the problem? Again, if the simulator doesn't have enough resources to use, the user may experience things such as unstable fps and sound issues.

You can try turning all graphic settings to low, as well as all of the data settings (such as online functionality) off, and try to fly and see if you still experience the sound cutting out. If you no longer experience the sound issue, you can slowly turn the options back on one at a time to see which option is causing an issue or making the simulator pull too many resources.
