Flight Control Unit, not working, please help

Recently purchased the LVFR A320.

Regardless of how I start the plane, the FCU is dead. There are no lights at all. Usually, an altitude of 5000 is automatically set in the altitude window, but even this is blank, and turning the altitude change knob does nothing.

The FCU is dead no matter what status the plane is loaded in: whether from cold and dark, APU running, or GPU running.

I can insert the flight plan, weights, fuel etc. I can even start the engines, but cannot enter anything into the FCU

Any suggestion please where I am going wrong, please?
