Things are messing around (again and again)
That’s the point, at least in my case:
- The A319 & A321 don’t work correctly in terms of managed descent. They start descending at an unrealistic speed (too high, they keep the one of cruize altitude) and therefore the V/S is too high as well (around -3800 ft/min).
-Now, since a week (kinda), the same happens with their A320, which was working absolutely fine before. But not anymore, as it presents the exact same problems of both A319 & A321. You can just opt for an open descent; the managed one is not coherent with the values showed on the MCDU on Perf page.
-Last but not least (look at the pic), it’s the second time in a row that I get a very slow landing suggested landing speed (129 knts in this case). And I’ve absolutely changed nothing with my way of doing things: a bit before descent starts I fill the approach perf page with all the infos (as u can see) and it’s always all gone quite well, as I was used to get a VLS of around 145 knts. But ofc, with a landing speed of 129 knts the plane is like a stone thrown on the ground, and it bounces.
