A319 MCDU problem - flight plan missing

Good morning everyone,

I would like to report the following problem with the mcdu of the A319 (same problem also for the A318).

I usually like to fly several consecutive flights without having to leave the flight session each time. I noticed that when I restart all systems and go to MCDU by clicking INIT and entering "origin and destination" and then going to F-PLN it tells me "UNTITLED" as if it couldn't find anything.
Below I send you some screenshots if anyone can give me support I would thank them very much.

Greetings

Hi, this is going to get fixed on the avionics/cdu update. It happens after loading the cdu with a flight, on the second flight you want to do this untitled thing occurs. We are working arduously to finish the avionics update which will cure this problem. Our apologies in the meantime.

Thanks for the prompt response and I'm glad you're working on it because I love your products and I want to use them while having fun. ;)

You can try this workaround until an updated solves the problem.

You can use FSUIPC7 to load your flight plan.

FSUIP7 let's you load directly from parking or gate without having to go back to the menu. However, certain flight plans may have a problem loading some or all of the waypoints, so it's important to keep your AIRAC cycle in the simulator updated along with the AIRAC cycle of whatever 3rd party app you're using to create the flight plan. I personally use SimBrief.

To load your flight plan from FSUIP7, go to your task bar on the right side, left click the up arrow to view hidden icons, left click the FSUIPC7 icon, left click Show..., left click File, left click Load Plan...

There is a problem that, sometimes during a flight, the flight plan may erase and show 'untitled'. You can attempt to load your flight plan again using FSUIPC7. If that doesn't work, go back to the INIT page, input your departure/arrival icao manually, then enter your waypoints manually.

Some users seem to think the problem is related to certain SIDs and/or STARs added to the flight plan. You can have SimBrief not add those to your flight plan, so that you can add them manually during flight to try and avoid the 'untitled' issue.

I've been testing this during my flights, but I don't have a definitive answer at this time.

Thank you very much and I would like to try this brilliant alternative.

Please forgive me, but not being a great expert, I ask you if I have to install this FSUIP7 and where to find it without errors.

FSUIPC7 is not required to load data into your MCDU. It's just a personal preference and offers me another option in case something doesn't go as planned during my flights.

You should be able to load your SimBrief flight plan directly to the LatinVFR aircraft then send it to your MCDU via the tablet. Other users have reported that sometimes it doesn't work. I've been informed that that issue is currently being worked on.

In most cases, if you create a flight plan at the MSFS menu screen, it should be loaded into the MCDU when you click FLY. You can also download your flight plan with, for example, SimBrief Downloader, then at the World Map screen, at the bottom, click MORE, click Load/Save, then load the downloaded flight plan.

One thing I should mention is that the MCDU doesn't seem to like oceanic lat/long waypoints. Sometimes the load correctly and I have no issues. However, to my knowledge there isn't a way to manually input these waypoints into the MCDU. This is something Asobo didn't seem to program correctly.

So, if you lose your flight plan, a workaround is to ignore these oceanic waypoints and use the next named (not lat/long) waypoint. You can also use Navigraph, or another flight planner, to try and find named waypoints that you can navigate by instead.

Another workaround is, if you use Simbrief, when creating a route, if you scroll down a bit, you can disable Oceanic Tracks under the Route Finder Tab. That way, it shouldn't add those waypoints to your flight plan at all.

The MSFS version of FSUIPC7 can be found at can be found at https://www.fsuipc.com or you can purchase it from Simmarket. I have never experienced any errors with it.

And speaking of Simmarket, there are a lot of other great LatinVFR products there for you to take a look at.
