Mesh error at the windshields

Post by dreampage » Sun Oct 16, 2022 7:56 pm

All of the cockpit windshield panels on the A319ceo are placed inaccurately. If you put the camera close enough, you can see that the glass panels don't intersect with their window frames. The glass panels are placed "outside" a few inches, therefore there is a visible gap between the frames and the glass panels. Unfortunately, this is also visible from the default interior camera, you can see there's a gap between the glass and the middle pillar. This applies to both the side windows as well as the front windshields. (Passenger windows are fine.)

This happens because our exterior model we did it ourselves and the interior (cockpit) is the ASOBO made cockpit. We are using the ASOBO cockpit with our own custom made exterior model. And this inaccuracy and mesh issue happens because of this.

We hope to do an our own entire cockpit of the a32X in some months time, and then we will have this fixed.

Thank you. Is this what causes the different light leaks as well? For example the bright light at night, taxi light visible in the footwell, etc? I thought the cockpit was also your creation as it looks different than the A320neo. Cleaner textures, different coloured lights and switches on the overhead panel.

The lights visible in the footwell is fixed on the latest update of the 319 we think, if not on the next because on our current development built is fixed.
