A321 1.2.0 Flaps issue
Hi folks,
Bought this recently and on the first flight I had the issues with the flaps working incorrectly. I noted that it had been updated on the Marketplace, to 1.2.0, so uninstalled the aircraft, and reinstalled version 1.2.0.
I tried the new update with a short flight this morning, and unfortunately the flight dynamic issues have not been addressed on the PC version.
On take off, I select Flaps 1 with around 1 degree of UP pitch. At around 110/120kts, it begins to self rotate and then stalls. Once airborne, if flaps are still extended, it will not accelerate beyond 140kts until I retract the flaps fully.
During the cruise at 0.78m, it'll cruise with a permanent 3 degree DOWN pitch, so constantly flying with the nose pointing downwards.
On approach, Flaps 1 sends the aircraft into a heavy downward pitch, any further flap extension causes the airspeed to drop dramatically and the aircraft to climb rapidly. To land the aircraft, I have to keep it in Flaps 1 and at approximately 110kts otherwise any faster it'll just climb.
I really enjoy the model of the 321N and it is something we have needed for a while, but this is FAR from acceptable to be charging customers $25/£21 for a product that is beyond broken. You claim to have fixed the flight dynamics and flap issues, but for myself at least, on PC, this is not the case and the aircraft is useless and a waste of cash. Are you going to fix this?

Hello, you aren't using the FBW mod for this? because if you are the flight dynamics are broken.
Confirm you are only using our aircraft and no other mod to it.
Also what's your aircraft load.
If you have seen some videos online, this behaviour isn't happening, not even on the original 1.0.0 version. Will upload a video soon and show what exactly is the intented dynamics.

Re: A321 1.2.0 Flaps issue
Ok so I decided to upload a video of KDFW-KMSY
Nothing fancy nor complicated for this flight, a flight plan generated by MSFS and I put in a cruising level of 350
Takeoff climb out
https://youtu.be/8HQmizx3Tzk
climb out to cruise
https://youtu.be/CRbWEpIszxg
cruise to descend and landing
https://youtu.be/tsexpOmKabM
In any of those situations did I encounter what you mention.
Don't know if you have flight assists or any other realism function but I did this flight without no assists and as realistic as MSFS allows it to be, with no imput other than the aircraft, which in this case is very basic.
I understand you are frustrated but in this flight I want to demonstrate what exactly is what we expect the end user should experience when flying the A321neo

Re: A321 1.2.0 Flaps issue
Hi,
I do have the FBW 32N installed but not the mod which allows the use of the FBW mod with this aircraft as I know this causes conflicts.
My aircraft loads are appropriate to the flights I'm trying to make, with the correct fuel load and payload. I have been simming for decades and like to think I know what I'm doing. I use Simbrief to get my load figures etc. I also have all assists turned off and the sim is in Realism mode.
I tried another flight yesterday, much the same issues however on landing the aircraft refused to flare at all. PACX recorded this as a -989fpm landing lol.
There is definitely an issue as others have reported in other forums.

Thank you for your response, believe me we want everyone happy with the way it flies. Hearing about these issues is not good for us.HeirJimmish wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 8:24 amHi,

How are you injecting the loads on the aircraft?
and can you post a picture with the load page in MSFS showing exactly how you load, so we can see that there aren't any CG problems.
In reality we tested this aircraft lightly loaded, mildly loaded and fully loaded, for months and we haven't encountered these problems.
Let us know

This is a recent video of a user, doing a simple landing, the user was coming in a bit fast, yet despite that he managed to correct on short final

Hi there,
This is a screenshot of my set up for the last flight I did - https://imgur.com/a/cCvbDmi
As for injecting the loads, this is done via the Simulator Weight and Balance settings.
