"Bump" in Runway 35L

Post by TMTCT » Thu Apr 22, 2021 9:25 am

Hi guys,

Thanks for making this scenery for us to use in MS2020 - one of my favorite places to fly.

Unfortunately, when I took off the other day from runway 35L, I encountered what can only be described as a "slight bump"! At 100 knots, the simulator is not very forgiving, to say the least!

Here are a couple of screenshots to show you the problem:

Thank you, in advance, for your help in rectifying this for us guys. ;)

No problem, mate. I can still fly using 35R (it has no issues, afaik). Thanks once again, guys. ;)

Hi, interestingly enough sometimes this bump doesn't appear, and sometimes it does.

We will still try to resolve this for the next update.

Hi,

unfortunately the problem persists. I was taking off 35L today and the bump is there. I am using the msfs marketplace version of SCEL.

Hi, yes very sorry, we have kept trying to resolve but to no avail. We are bringing this up with ASOBO to ask why and will get back.

Ok, thank you. It's not a big problem, it only destroys the immersion a bit. Especially with an airport of LVFR top quality.

Hi there!

I also run into this problem (literally) every time I take off or land on Rwy 35L at SCEL (MSFS Marketplace version). So I suppose there has been no update yet that eliminates this problem. Are there any news on the progress?

This problem is because a boundary or line passes through the runway and causes this. This same problem happens with LEBL runway 02/20.

This only affects runways but not taxiways, which makes it very complicated to fix.

Thank you for the quick reply.

But does this mean the issue is being worked on? Because even if it's complicated, it would be bummer to just have to accept it as it is...
