KMSY Extra runways in ATIS/RAAS announcements wrong

Post by treeb52 » Sun Feb 21, 2021 9:40 pm

When I dial up ATIS, KMSY reports the status on 13 runways:20,21, 22,23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 27R, 28, 28R, 28L, 29. Also, when taking runway 29, RAAS reports approaching Rwy 28 (the old designation). I have no other KMSY scenery installed.

Any ideas?

Hi, that sounds like that in the ATIS because we did 'crosswind runways' so two runways can be used at the same time.

As for RAAS, we don't control this, please contact the developer of RAAS.

But it's reporting runways that don't exist. So is everyone else getting the same thing?

Hi, yes is in purpose, so that we can do crosswind runways. We do that in almost our airports that have runways like that. Other developers do the same too.
