Good day,
I've installed KMIA on P3Dv5 and when I try to load the airport it will reach the cockpit load but no scenery, audio quits and p3dv5 CTD's. I followed the installation procedure, I uninstalled and reinstalled no help. Works fine on p3dv4.5hf3. I run p3d as admin as well as my installs.
Thanks,
Wolfy

Hi, with truesky activated you need to scale down your settings with texture size, set the textures to 1024x1024 if you are using truesky.
LM is working on improving this for an upcoming fix.

Thanks Ricardo for the reply. I was able to change the settings and the airport now loads. I will add that even at 1024*1024 texture settings, this airport is eating up 6.4GB of the 8GB RTX 2060 Super video card and I'm sure it'll eat up the same on a RTX 2080. This also has impacted my FPS down to 23-25 FPS minimums for smooth flight. Sure, I can turn down some of the graphic settings and get some FPS back but should I have to do this when other airports are working just fine at my current settings? Not that I won't change my settings just adding that perhaps the amount of memory needed is the cause of the performance degradation. Hopefully between your team and LM you'll be able to clean up the intense level of ram needed for this airport. I don't mind turning some settings down just wanted to share my experience with the current state of the scenery.

I have a very powerful computer and yet KFLL crashed twice with the default settings. My GPU has 8 GB of memory which is more than enough to handle this airport. Is actually performing like the FSDT version, which ironically trade it for this one due to performance, I don't understand why is so hard on FR.
