Graphics CTD when loading FLL in v5 HF2

Having an issue using KFLL in P3Dv5. I have a ton of other complex scenery add-ons (including others from LatinVFR) and this problem only seems to occur when I'm using KFLL. Regardless of if I'm starting a flight there or approaching the airport, I et a DXGI_DEVICE_HUNG error that requires P3D to shut down. I've tried turning off some of the features of the scenery, removed the SlopedrwyAI DLL, lowered graphics settings, etc. and nothing seems to prevent it from happening. Any ideas?

I'm running a NVIDIA RTX 2080 SUPER with the latest drivers and this thing is a beast that can handle most anything I throw at it so I'm surprised to see this issue pop up.

Hi, are you running KFLL together with KMIA?

If so try this:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=405

or disable KMIA altogether and try.

Just tried reinstalling (after following along on the other thread about the platforms causing framerate issues). Unfortunately, still getting the HUNG GRAPHICS error causing P3D to need to close. I do not have KMIA installed and also disabled all the extra options for KFLL on the configurator.

Hi, have you tried downloading the most recent installer? please do so we optimized the scenery much more for p3dv5. Let us know

I looked for the in new P3Dv5 installer for KFLL in Simmarket where I bought it and, as of this evening (07/23/2020 at 23:00) it does not appear to be available there. Do you know when it will be available?

Also, when I have the new installer, I would like to uninstall the original installation and re-install into the Add-Ons folder but I have been unable to find an uninstaller.

Hi, you can download the most recent installer, it should be there.

To uninstall go to p3d/latinvfr/Fort Lauderdale/ and on that folder that's where the uninstaller is located.

Have downloaded what is there in Simmarket and found uninstaller.

Does what is in this new v5 installer still need Hotfix 2 and SODE fixes?

no you don't need the hotfix anymore
