Doesn't seem like these airports are optimized for P3Dv5 at all. If I load these airports with default aircraft its fine, but as soon as I try to load with PMDG or Maddog X, I quickly run out of memory and the system crashes. Not having this issue at any other add-on airport.

Hi, have you tried this?: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=405
Both airports are a bit too close, and if you have texture size on 1024x1024 you should be ok running it, the same way from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3awCI89MDs

Those settings are very similar to what I have set. The problem I see in the video, its from P3Dv4 not v5, since the PMDG 737 is not available yet. Both airports had worked just fine with v4.5 at max settings.

Hi, the video was made in P3dv5.
At the beginning you can see the settings he used. Please try to replicate them. And also try to update your video card.

Hi Ricardo,
That video that you posted is on a 1080p monitor. I have a 4k monitor, with a GTX1080TI 11Gb Video Card and those settings doesn´t work for me. Actually I have to drastically reduce my quality to be able to load the airports (KMIA, KFLL, LEMD) without having a CTD. It doesn´t make sense for me at the moment to fly in-out of these airports in p3d v5.
You mentioned in the sticky post you will release an update with reduced texture size to mitigate this issue, how are you doing with that?
Thanks!

Hi, Lockheed is working on this situation as we speak, they are addressing this problem which many people are complaining not only about my addons but others also.ttbq1 wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 10:59 amHi Ricardo,

Lockheed advised me that only reducing the sizes in display settings is enough for this, since manually reducing the texture size according to them is mostly the same. So no point in reducing texture size if you can select that in the scenery display options.
I am also very perplexed that these airports worked rather well in P3dv4 and now with the new VRAM system is not working that great in P3dv5. I would wait and see what they come up with with their future updates.
