Sorry about the late reply. It happens on every flight plan on all four planes. They lock ok but the mangenta diamond doesn't make its way down for approach. It's not so bad most times as visibility is fine for a manual landing but yesterday when approaching San Francisco in fog was a job and half

Is there something wrong with the ils landing system on the a319. For the past two weeks the horizontal mangenta diamond locks but the vertical diamond does not make its way down. Its happening on flights that I have successfully done in the past

For the past week or two the mangenta diamond will not come down ready for approach. I'm doing exactly the same as I've always done with a ils landing. The horizontal diamond comes across and I can loc it but then the vertical diamond doesn't budge.
