The next update wont be until after new year.

Yes. The avionics update which will improve the system will be first updated on the A339 in one of the next updates.

The updated avionics will be available on the A343 at release.

I have found that at some of the larger gates the jet-ways do indeed fall short. Most are OK but we will look at getting this fixed.

Does the tablet screen show? Or do all the screens stay black?

I will check this today.

Have you tried restarting the sim?
